Q：大家好，我是中英区块链协会的龚晖。今天，我来到了牛津大学采访牛津大学的教授John Fox。John Fox教授您好，您可以先简单的介绍一下自己吗？
On July 11th, the chief of China-UK Blockchain Association visited Oxford University in Oxford to discuss the latest cooperation with Seele and explored the apply of blockchain technology in AI and medicine area.
John Fox is a lifelong Fellow of the European Society for Artificial Intelligence and Behavioral Simulation, the chief scientist of the Royal Cancer Research Foundation, and a leader in the cognitive computing community. Not long ago, it cooperated with Seele Yuanyi to apply Seele's blockchain and smart contract technology to medical area research.
The following is the live interview content:
Q: Hello everyone, I am Gong Hui from the China-British Blockchain Association. Today, I came to Oxford University to interview John Fox, a professor at Oxford University. Hello Professor John Fox, can you briefly introduce yourself?
A: Hello everyone, as you said, I am a professor at Oxford University. In addition, I have in-depth research on AI and cognitive computing, such as using AI to solve medical problems. Recently, I worked with Seele to apply Seele's blockchain smart contract technology to medical research. I have a lot of experience in the application of AI to the medical field, and various diseases in medicine have become more and more data. High quality data makes disease research more confidential and safe. Blockchain technology gives me a better direction to make data safer and more efficient.
Q: It seems that you think Seele is a very good project. What is the specific content of your cooperation with Seele?
A: After the Seele exchange, I was very interested in their blockchain smart contract technology. Our cooperation includes many aspects. For example, the personal medical data can be shared securely through the blockchain, and the smart contract can be combined with medical care to achieve multidisciplinary and distributed medical teams as well as artificial intelligence and knowledge engineering.
Q: Yes, blockchain technology has been applied to many fields, and medical research is also a very important part. Everyone is very concerned about the application of the blockchain in the medical field. Can you disclose the specific projects that cooperate with Seele?
A: We will focus on the research part first, and then there will be a British institution to join the development system, and later will cooperate with several hospitals.
